visits HGI-CGS
for joint field training in Croatia
Field training for HGI-CGS staff in a collection of samples for emerging contaminant analysis was held from 19th to 22nd March 2019 in the karstic part of Croatia. The samples were collected at springs of different discharges and types at several different locations in Croatia. The field training was led by Dan J. Lapworth, an expert in field of emerging contaminants from BGS-UKRI, while attendees were three scientists from HGI-CGS: Jasmina Lukač Reberski, Josip Terzić and Andrej Stroj.
On Tuesday, 19th March 2019, spring water sampling procedures for the purposes of emerging contaminants analysis were held in the area of Gorski kotar and Lika, CRO (Figure 1).
On Wednesday and Thursday, 20th and 21st March 2019, spring water sampling took place in Dalmatia region, CRO (Figures 2-6).
The last day, Friday 22nd March 2019 was reserved for Work Package 2.2 meeting at the HGI-CGS offices, Sachsova 2, 10 000 Zagreb, CRO in order to agree on further plans and activities for the Work Package 2.2.
